Taking care of the wool and spin
your own yarn is a rare thing today, although the interest is growing.
It's wonderful to sit by the spinning wheel after sorting, scouring
and carding the wool.
It is not a very fast going work.
One oz of yarn, Nm 4,5, will take about one hour to spin. No wonder
hand spun yarn or woven products with hand spun material are more
expensive than industrially made products.
